Description
Founded by and for folks who are currently running or who are thinking about building layouts using any of the various systems that power their trains via the rails their Large Scale Trains run on.
This includes but is not limited to Analog (normal) Track Power; MTS and DCC; DCS and On-Board Controllers that get their power from the tracks.
We do not promote any one track powered system over others preferring to try them all and find out what is best with each system.
Some of us also run battery powered and live steam powered trains occasionally as well as our track powered trains but our primary focus is on track power.
I am retired so I am here most of the time and visitors are always welcome - PRIOR NOTICE IS REQUIRED (phone ahead).
Meetings/Schedule Information
Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm
Train Running Days are the 4th Saturday at 11:00 am
Meetings and Run Days default to 3470 Ed Haymes Road, Austin, Arkansas but at times will change to a member's home - so phone ahead to confirm dates and locations.
Location/Directions
30 Miles Northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Take Highway 67/167 to Austin Exit and cross over Hwy 67/167 west and drive 3 miles (Main Street west out of Austin becomes Ed Haymes Road).
Turn right at mailbox marked 3470 Ed Haymes Road.
