Club Information
The 'Rio Grande at Dusk' by Normand Delisle & Jean Leblanc. INDOOR G scale Layout, Circa 1930-1959. Since his planned dream layout was to big for a private home, Normand Delisle decided to build his layout, of the famous Colorado Railroad, in a 6000 sq. ft. commercial local. The layout consist of 1100 ft of tracks & 60 switches in a walkaround configuration. Completed layout with finished decor including a coal mine, a marble quarry, a logging area, turntable with wooden roundhouse and industrial sectors. Locomotive fleet consist of famous narrow gauge steam engines including Shays, Climax & Heislers which are controlled via DCC system with sound effects. A portion of the local is dedicated to real railroad artefacts from the steam area with a library and many old maps of the 19th century.
Open to public on the first Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission fee is $6.00. Visits are also available at your conveniance for groups of 10 to 50. Contact Normand Delisle at 514-975-9150 for informations.
Easily accessible. Take the Boul. St-Laurent exit of Highway 40. We are located just a couple of blocks north of the highway.
