Club Information
The Denver Garden Railway Society, founded in 1979, is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and the promotion and enjoyment of all aspects of garden railroading. One of the original such societies in the U.S., our organization founded the National Garden Railway Convention in 1985 and has hosted five of these events with registrants from all over the world. DGRS will next host the 2004 Convention in August of that year.
The club encompasses all facets of this fascinating hobby, and includes electric operation, battery-powered and clockwork trains, and trains that actually run on live steam. Most of our members have, or hope to have, gauge G, O or gauge 1 railways in their gardens or back yards.
General Meeting is that last Tuesday of every month. Check the Club web site for meeting locations (varies during the summer).
